[ Doll on the other hand, grinned and cackled, waving at Flood and Vanitas. Walter noticed the look, but pressed in. He'd simply remember that. ]

In regards to Team Rocket...I had an idea. We should keep in touch about their movements. It will allow us to see where they are moving and their intentions. And it seems they have new members to replace us.

[ It's clear he isn't sure how to word this idea, but the concept is there. ] Diana has also left them.

[Flood giggles happily and waves in return, floating up to lounge on Vanitas's shoulder because oh she wants to be apart of this conversation or at least privy to it.]

Not a bad idea though honestly I don't expect them to do much as an organization.

[It comes out as a drawl, Vanitas rolling his eyes though it's clear it's not at Walter.]

Anything that goes on seems to be based on what individuals do. It's pretty pathetic if you ask me.

[Team Rocket was pathetic.]

But it's still a good idea. [A pause.] Wait, really?

[ He nodded. She had taken steps to lie low and, from what he had heard, she had simply upped and left her post. The admins already knew about her abandonment but, as it wasn't as destructive as his actions, it makes sense she does not have the same target on her as he does. ]

That is what she told me.

...I included her in this. When Team Rocket came for me, I had no problem dealing with them myself, alongside my Pokemon. But I do not think Diana would defend herself. [ He'd seen it in the orphanage. Experienced it even. After so long, some of them forget how to fight, and their hatred gave way to despair. It had happened to him. But he was not a boy anymore, and he had strength, both his and his Pokemon's. He would take his time, but he would bite and rip the hand that tried to control him. It seemed to him, that Diana lacked the will to bite. And if she was captured, they could use her to find out his movements. It was a risk he couldn't take. ]

And as you have said, it depends on what individuals do. With the new members, we cannot say their intentions, or if they will feel as we do now, in time. But it is safer to assume they are a threat, than to dismiss them and have them surprise us later.

[That was a little unexpected. He was glad to hear it but he'd kind of pegged Diana as the type of person to just roll with the punches and gladly take free stuff as it was given. But hey, in this case he was pleased to have been proven wrong.]

Is she safe?

[Flood glanced at her trainer, chin propped in her hand before she looked past him at something off-screen. A silent conversation seemed to be happening, one that paused as the Phantump glanced at Walter to see what his answer would be.]

Fair enough. So, messages via 'gear or should we use Pokemon? I could use Sneak again if I have to. Unless you had something else in mind.

[ It had surprised Walter too to hear. But he was also glad to be wrong about Diana, although during their chat she still didn't have the same confidence he had in himself, or that Vanitas showed. ]

She has her Pokemon protecting her, and is taking steps to avoid drawing attention to herself. [ Safe was a relative word. Right now they weren't really safe, but they could secure themselves. ]

I have Murkrow who can deliver messages quickly, and the Gear would be useful for urgent matters. I've heard of networks; chatrooms. You add members and can put messages on there for invited individuals to see. Nobody else can see it. With new members joining Rocket, we need to be careful. [ Trust no-one with their new WhatsApp group. ]

I'm currently on the move. Once we can talk all together, we can make further plans. For now, we can at least share information.

[Vanitas nodded and Flood looked satisfied, looking at whoever was off-screen and nodding with a grin. That meant they could reach out to her.]

Good. That's better than nothing.

[Now they just had to work on her confidence. The problem was going to be Jack considering how close Diana was with him.]

If we can make it private that works I guess. [Though he really didn't trust the 'gears at all.] For now we should probably stick with Pokemon until we get all the specifics worked out. Just to be on the safe side and until we know what all the new Rockets are about.

[ Jack was always an annoyance as far as Walter was concerned, although Felix had been the person to gain his ire (and end up getting shocked by a then-young Chaos for his attempts to needle Walter) ]

That's fine. [ His Murkrow were extremely reliable. And experience had shown that people did not take notice of a lone Murkrow running an errand. He pauses and Doll nudges him with a grin and a giggle. ] I will let you know anything of interest I find regarding them.

...If it seems they are suspicious of you, inform me. [ The implication is quiet. But if Vanitas was caught out...Walter knew he needed to concern himself with Vanitas' safety now, both to maintain contact and to maintain his won safety. ]

Likewise.

[It was only fair after all. They were in the same boat now even if Vanitas hadn't quite gone out with a bang yet. He was taking a much slower approach to this because you can damn well bet he was going to milk Team Rocket and take as many Pokemon from them as he could in the process.

Assholes.

Momentary surprise flickers across his face before he smirks lazily as Flood grins widely.]

Worried about me? [It comes out teasingly, a bit dry even before he shrugs, shooting his Phantump a short glare as she whaps his ear.] I will. And tell me if you have any issues. Us traitors have to have one another's backs.

[ The worry comment gets a slightly dry look from him, while Doll cackled happily and returned Vanitas' smile. Funny how alliances kept changing. First it had been drilled that he was with the Order. Then, Team Rocket. Now, 'us traitors'. But this was something different. Something he chose. Without thinking, a smile tugs at his lips. ]

I look forward to hearing what you do to them.

[Vanitas smirks now, unable to help himself. Oh was he going to have fun with Team Rocket.]
