Received from Walter (egg) | February 25th, 2018 Hatched on March 4th, 2018 There was something about Cubones that intrigued Vanitas; that resonated with him. So of course he had to ask if he could have one when Walter posted on the network that he had some available. Giving the egg as much attention and care as he could, even while on the road heading to Fuschia City, Vanitas waited patiently for it to hatch. Funny enough it happened the day he arrived in Fuschia to meet up with Diana, Jinx, and Walter.
Veritas was very calm from the start, blinking several times when she initially hatched before peering up at Vanitas and taking him in for a long moment. Without a sound she held a paw out to him and upon taking it Vanitas knew he was screwed because he would do anything for this tiny little Pokemon. Since then Vanitas has rarely put Veritas done, the little Cubone usually either tucked into his jacket, cradled in his arm or perched on his shoulder--carefully steadied by one of his hands of course. She seems to be curious about everything and is always watching those around them, calm and collected about everything the world has to offer.
