Wearing: Markings:Shiny; one of it's head branches is much shorter than the other - looks like it was broken at some point; the wood of its head stump looks like Birch Holding:
Met in Lavender Town (level 20) | March 26th, 2018 While visiting with the elderly couple he made friends with (and ended up gifting Calamity to), Vanitas ended up crossing paths with a rather unusual Pokemon in the cemetery. It was late one evening while he was heading back to the inn he was staying at that he was assaulted from the shadows, Flood swiftly jumping to his defense and taking on the attacker that neither of them could see right away. She didn't have any trouble putting the other Pokemon in it's place but just before she could fully knock it out Vanitas able to catch sight of their attacker and called off Flood's attack. Their assailant was another Phantump but Flood's Will-o-Wisp attack allowed him to see that it was very different from his partner in crime--this one was shiny. As soon as the attack ceased the weakened Pokemon managed to hide itself behind a tombstone in an attempt to hide but Vanitas managed to coax it out and eventually catch it.
Pleased with his catch, Vantias headed out of the graveyard, unaware of Flood lingering behind near the tombstone, peering at the name and the words below it--Beloved Son. The Phantump briefly glanced towards the elderly couple's house before following her trainer. (She was going to keep that knowledge to herself.)
At the Inn Vanitas let his newly acquired Phantump out to get a better look at him and decided to call him Chrono in the process. Chrono is an odd little thing, a bit twitchy and likes to get way too close to others--human and Pokemon alike--but hopefully its something that will work itself out. If nothing else he seems to have a drive to get stronger so Vanitas has high hopes for training him.
