Met on Route 19 (level 30) | March 4th, 2017 Quickstep and his partner in "crime" Nita the Maractus were two of the Pokemon that Vanitas and his crew ran into on Route 19 just outside Fuschia City. They had been drawn to the sound of music and discovered the cactus pair leading a dance party of sorts and somehow got caught up in it--though Vanitas will never admit it shut up! Needless to say it was actually a lot of fun and Vanitas was kind of charmed by the two at the end of it and they seemed to like him and his team pretty well. So one thing led to another and Vanitas ended up with two cactus. But then the Maractus heard about Vanitas boyfriend and well clearly she needed to go hang out with the other half of the awesome duo and help bring them back together! So off she went~
Now on his own with the team, Quickstep is happy to be the cheering squad for the others, always encouraging them during their training and battles with his own brand of music that he creates all by himself. (Cactus hands) He's an all around sweet Pokemon that just wants to have a good time and there's really not much that can get him down. (Though he can't wait until he can see his dear sweet Nita again! The party they're going to have will be epic!)
